Some time later, the company received telegrams from both agents. The first said, "No business here . . . natives don't wear shoes." Rachel was playing around the toilet while her mom was brushing her teeth. Beth looked down and saw Rachel taking her toothbrush and putting it in the toilet bowl and scrubbing the sides with it.
