~~~~~~~ THOUGHTS:
"If you cannot do GREAT THINGS; do small things in a GREAT WAY." - J. F. Clarke
~~~~~~~ SPECIAL THOUGHTS:

Cindy traveled across America and in Australia with the Youth Aflame Singers. In one home where she stayed there was a boy of about seven or eight. When Cindy saw him reading a Bible with large print and holding it close to his eyes, she asked, "Are you okay, Jamie?"

"I sure am," Jamie replied confidentially even though he was going blind. "God says, 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths.' And even though I am losing my sight, I know that God will always direct my paths because I trust in him." By Dick Innes

~~~~~~~ THIS & THAT:
The following is a special announcement from one of our "WIT and WISDOM" readers. I thought you would enjoy it. - Richard Wimer :)
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
In April of 1999, a new Carr will be introduced to the world. It will be made of the finest materials known to man, and have similar capabilities and options of previous Carr's of its kind. This new Carr promises to have all the standard features of its predecessors.
Its small but efficient multi-valve engine is already revving in anticipation of its release. Its most prominent feature will be its horn, which will be the first of its standard accessories to make itself known.
In its earliest stages it will prove to be a high input, and high output device. The body style will be sleek, flexible, and quite attractive to the touch. Simple, practical, yet stylish. Though its exterior will be brand new, it will require much washing and buffing to keep clean at first.
In later stages of development it will be seen moving aptly about in four-wheel drive, then later advancing to two-wheel drive. Coming from a choice line of quality Carrs, this model will certainly prove to be an original, though it comes directly from the Original Manufacturer. Every current car owner can appreciate the joy that is experienced with a brand new car - ahhh that new Carr smell!
And so it is a great privilege to announce to you that Carisa and I are going to have a baby - our new Carr! The new 1999 Carr (that's with two R's) is coming to a showroom near you in late April.
A contest for the most original name is already begun. Current entrants have submitted the following "groaners":
1. Parker; 2. Rusty; 3. Mercedes or Porsche; 4. Skeeter or Speedy (out of the question). Your entry is appreciated. . . .
We'll probably wait to see exactly what model it is in order to give him or her an appropriate name.
So we are glad to have a Carr in production and pray that The Master Builder and Mechanic will watch over it through delivery date and beyond.
Very truly yours,
Pastor Craig & Carisa Carr Mailto:carr@greene.xtn.net
~~~~~~~ KEEP SMILING:

A friend of mine spent some time in Egypt and brought back a rather unusual story. She was at a bazaar on one of Cairo's side streets, and saw a skull being exhibited. She asked the proprietor about it. He told her it was the skull of Cleopatra.

Alongside that skull was a smaller one, which piqued her interest. When she asked about that one, the proprietor said: "That m'Lady is also Cleopatra's - but as a child."

~~~~~~~ TRIVIA:
There are a small number of banks that are misrepresenting themselves on the Internet. The US government has created a site where you can check to determine if an institution has a legitimate charter and is a member of the FDIC. Visit http://www.fdic.gov/consumer/suspicious/
