~~~~~~~ THOUGHTS:
A wise observer once counseled a younger employee who was angry over a colleague's thoughtless behavior: "Never ascribe to malice what can be perfectly well explained by stupidity." - Bits & Pieces, October 14, 1993
~~~~~~~ SPECIAL THOUGHTS:

There are many fine things which you mean to do some day, under what you think will be more favorable circumstances. But the only time that is surely yours is the present, hence this is the time to speak the word of appreciation and sympathy, to do the generous deed, to forgive the fault of a thoughtless friend, to sacrifice self a little more for others. Today is the day in which to express your noblest qualities of mind and heart, to do at least one worthy thing which you have long postponed, and to use your God-given abilities for the enrichment of some less fortunate fellow traveler. Today you can make your life . . . significant and worthwhile. The present is yours to do with it as you will. - Grenville Kleiser

Julie Burns from Richmond, Indiana, said that one day she was concentrating hard on something and her brow was furrowed. Her five year old daughter said, "Oh Mommy, don't do that. You look like all those people at church!"

My two-year-old daughter, Paige was with her mother while her older sister was being examined by a dentist. Paige kept herself busy playing with toys in the waiting room until she noticed that her mom was resting, her eyes closed.

With about six other patients waiting, Paige marched up to her mother, looked her straight in the face and shook her shoulder.

"Mommy," she yelled, "wake up! This is not church!"

My wife, Lani, woke from her doze to the sound of other patients laughing.

Christian, a little over two, enjoys all kinds of stories read to him and recently his mom and dad were reading a child's version of The Wizard of Oz. He likes it so much he has the book memorized. One day he was sitting crouched under a chair. His mother said, "Oh, you look like a lion in there." Christian didn't miss a beat: "Yes, and I need some courage."

~~~~~~~ KEEP SMILING:
My mother said to me, "If you become a soldier, you'll be a general; if you become a monk, you'll end up as the pope." Instead, I became a painter, and wound up Picasso. - Pablo Picasso
~~~~~~~ TRIVIA:

Q: What is the most widely spoken language on earth?

1. Mandarin Chinese
2. Spanish
3. English
4. Russian

Scroll Down:

A: #1 - Mandarin Chinese

My original thought would have been English, but Chinese makes more sense, based on population. In fact an estimated 1,070,000,000 speak it, compared to 580,000,000 of us who speak English (the second most prevalent language).
