Mentally patting myself on the back for teaching him to be such a gracious host, I said, "Yes, what do you have?" He walked over to the refrigerator, opened the door, studied the contents, and replied, "I have pickle juice or water." The Degree Confluence Project is collecting photographs and first hand accounts of visitors to these locations. A Global Positioning System device helps but isn't an absolute necessity. The oceans and to a certain point, the poles have been taken out of the equation. Even with that, there are still over 12,900 confluences remaining to complete the project.
