~~~~~~~ THOUGHTS:
Money is a singular thing. It ranks with love as man's greatest source of joy. And with death as his greatest source of anxiety. - John Kenneth Galbraith
Jesus connected spiritual lessons to the items of every day life. Maybe you will be reminded more often of God's special qualities after reading this.
God is a little like General Electric
He lights your path.
God is a little like Bayer Aspirin
He works wonders.
God is a little like Hallmark Cards
He cared enough to send the very best.
God is a little like Tide
He gets out the stains that others leave behind.
God is a little like VO-5 Hair Spray
He holds through all kinds of weather.
God is a little like Dial Soap
Aren't you glad you know Him?
Don't you wish everyone did?
God is a little like Sears
He has everything.
God is a little like Alka Seltzer
Oh, what a relief He is!
God is a little like Scotch Tape
You can't see Him but you know He's there!
God is a little like The Copper Top Battery;
Nothing can outlast him.
God is a little like American Express
Don't leave home without Him!
~~~~~~~ THIS & THAT:

The Way We Might Sing Them, If We Were Honest

I Surrender, Some

Fill My Spoon, Lord

Oh, How I Like Jesus

He's Quite a Bit to Me

I Love to Talk About Telling the Story

Take My Life and Let Me Be

It Is My Secret What God Can Do

There Is Scattered Cloudiness in My Soul Today

Where He Leads Me, I Will Consider Following

Just As I Pretend to Be

Oh, for a Couple of Tongues to Sing

Amazing Grace, How Interesting the Sound

Lord, Keep Us Loosely Connected to Your Word

My Hope Is Built on Nothing Much

Pillow of Ages, Fluffed for Me

When Peace, Like a Trickle

I'm Fairly Certain that My Redeemer Lives

What an Acquaintance We Have in Jesus

My Faith Looks Around for Thee

Joyful, Joyful We Think Thee Pretty Good

We Are Milling Around in the Light of God

Blest Be the Tie that Doesn't Cramp My Style

Sweet Five Minutes of Prayer

When Diane found out she was pregnant, she told the good news to anyone who would listen. But her 4-year-old overheard some of her parents' private conversations. One day when Diane and her 4-year-old were shopping a woman asked the little girl if she was excited about the new baby.

"Oh, yes!" the 4-year-old said, "and I know what we are going to name it. If it's a girl we're going to call her Christina, and if it's a boy we're going to call it quits!"

~~~~~~~ TRIVIA:
Changing German marks to Euros.
Pancevo, Yugoslavia (Ananova):
A paranoid man who buried his life-savings has had to dig up the cash again to get it changed into euros.
The Yugoslav had kept his savings in German marks.
The man from Pancevo buried his hoard worth 8,000 in five separate holes and sealed them with concrete and asphalt.
Named only as Djordje M, the man says he didn't trust local currencies, but realized he had to act as the euro replaces the mark.
He said: "I thought if thieves come one day they would need to spend plenty of time finding and opening my five safes underground. Even if they found one of my safes they would probably leave four others."
Djordje says he now has a new hiding place for his euros, but it is a secret.
