~~~~~~~ THOUGHTS:
Failure is no more fatal than success is permanent.
~~~~~~~ SPECIAL THOUGHTS:

Once an old woman approached Mahatma Gandhi with her son. The woman was in tears. She explained to the Mahatma, that her only son was suffering from High Blood Pressure and the Doctors had advised him not to eat “Table Salt”.

Having been use to eat Salt in his daily diet for all his life the son was finding it very difficult to live without it. As per Doctors , his was an acute case and Salt consumption could lead to further health
complications.

The woman requested Mahatma Gandhi to counsel her son and help him leave eating Salt that could save his life , and in turn bring happiness to the entire family, as he was the only bread earner.

Mahatma Gandhi thought for a few moments and then requested the woman to come again with her son after one month.

The woman returned to Mahatma after a month to find what advice he had to offer to her son.

Mahatma said : “Ma ! ( Mother in Hindi ) you must be wondering as to why did I ask you to come after a month for the solution to your son’s problem !”

“A month back, when you had approached me, I was not competent enough to suggest him that he will be able to leave out salt from his daily diet.
Having not eaten Salt for the last one month , today, I can assure him that he can do so, and without much problem.”

That old woman’s son stayed at the Ashram for the next three months on Mahatma’s request, and Mahatma and a few others joined him with a Salt-less diet. When the Old woman and her son left Ashram, her son had started enjoying a salt-less diet and was already on his way to a healthy life.

Thoughts On Advertising

Advertising is the fine art of convincing people that debt is better than frustration.

Advertising helps raise the standard of living by raising the standard of longing.

Advertising transforms a yawn into a yearn.

One of life's biggest disappointments is discovering that the person who writes the ads for the bank is not the one who makes the loans.

If you think advertising doesn't work, consider the millions of people who now think that yogurt tastes good. (Joe L. Whitley)

You can tell the ideals of a nation by its advertisements. (Norman Douglas)

Half the money I spend on advertising is wasted. The trouble is, I don't know which half. (John Wanamaker)

~~~~~~~ KEEP SMILING:
A Sunday school class was being quizzed on the story of the prodigal son. The teacher asked one child, “Who was sorry when the prodigal son returned home?”
The boy gave it some thought, then answered, “The fatted Calf.”
