~~~~~~~ THOUGHTS:
I have one request; may I never use my reason against truth. - Elie Wiesel
"Make it a rule, and pray to God to help you to keep it, never, if possible, to lie down at night without being able to say: "I have made one human being at least a little wiser, or a little happier, or at least a little better this day." - Charles Kingsley
~~~~~~~ THIS & THAT:

AND MORE AMORE: Part 2 of 2 [April 18 & 28] - From the PUNY Group

Gary Hallock:

What a tough act to top,
Singing "shoobie doo bopp."...
That was Torme

When someone's life you take,
A commandment you break,
That's immoral!

When you drive cross the lawn
And your grass is all gone,
That's a mower eh?

There's a guy, not PC,
Late at night, ABC...
That's Bill Mahr eh?

Clynch Varnadore:

Hanukkah's in the air,
and the candles are there,
That's Menorah!

When the fables are read,
Fairy tales in your head,
That's a story!

An apple a day
Keeps the doctor away,
That's a core, eh?

There would be fewer problems with children if they had to chop wood to keep the TV set going.

~~~~~~~ TRIVIA:
To sharpen the blades of your garbage disposal, make some ice cubes with white vinegar and then run them through the disposal. This will both sharpen the blades and help clean the disposal. Just be sure to mark which cubes are made of vinegar, or someone could end up with a really bad-tasting drink!
